// WHAT IS LIVE ROSIN?
Live Rosin is a solventless extract meaning it’s made using temperature, pressure, and physical separation techniques, not solvents. The “Live” in the name means the starting material was fresh frozen, the best flower you can start the process with to preserve the cannabinoids and terpenes.
// HOW IS LIVE ROSIN MADE?
It starts with the cultivation. We work with growers to hand select the plants with the right trichome shape before they are harvested. The plants then get harvested and immediately vacuum sealed and put in a freezer to preserve freshness and terpenes. The fresh frozen is agitated in ice water, breaking off the trichome heads. The trichomes are separated out and dried, leaving hash. The hash is then pressed between heated plates to create Live Resin.
// WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN LIVE RESIN AND
LIVE ROSIN?
Live rosin is made without the use of solvents and in a completely different manner. Live resin is made using extraction processes with solvents.
// HOW STRONG IS LIVE ROSIN?
Live Rosin traditionally has lower THC levels than other extracts, especially distillate, but that doesn’t mean you get less high. Minor cannabinoids and terpenes all work together to create the physical and mental effects you feel. THC levels is only part of the story.
